Tour program

Day 1

  • Departure early in the morning. Drive to Wieliczka and visit the UNESCO-listed Salt Mine. Guided tour underground at a depth of 135 meters, learning about the history, legends and geology of the mine.
  • A visit to the 9-meter deep lake, St. Kinga Chapel, Stanislaw Staszic Chamber and the Crystal Grottoes.
  • After the tour, transfer to the resort, accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.
  • OR
  • Departure to Auschwitz and tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, on the UNESCO list. Visit to the Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau main camp. The guide tells the history of the camp and how it functioned during World War II.
  • After the tour, return to the resort for accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2

  • Breakfast. Sightseeing in Cracow, we will start from the Main Square, the heart of the former capital of Poland. We will see St. Mary’s Church, the Cloth Hall, the Gothic Town Hall tower and Krakow’s townhouses.
  • After the Market Square, we will see the Barbican, a medieval fortification, and then Wawel Castle with the Cathedral, royal tombs, the Sigismund Bell and the Dragon’s Den.
  • In the afternoon, visit the exhibition “Underground of the Market Square – Traces of the European Identity of Krakow”, located under the cobblestones of the Market Square.
  • Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

  • Breakfast. Further sightseeing in Cracow. Walk to the Kosciuszko Mound, with a beautiful panorama of the city and the exhibition “Fortress City of Krakow 1846 – 1918”.
  • Several options to choose from: Drive to Kazimierz, visit the Remuh Synagogue and Remuh Cemetery, and Oskar Schindler’s Emalia Factory.
  • Alternative: Drive to the Stanislaw Lem Experiment Gardens – a place where one learns about physics through various senses.
  • Third option: Visit the Living Bagel Museum, where you can learn how to bake traditional bagels.
  • After all the options, there is time for the group to eat and drive back.
