Tour program

Day 1

  • Depart early in the morning and drive to Dresden, the capital of Saxony, located on the Elbe River.
  • Walk on the Brühl Terraces, the famous “Balconies of Europe,” overlooking the city skyline.
  • Visit the most important sights of the Old Town: the Albertinum, the Trinity Cathedral, the Semper Opera House and the Fürstenzug mural.
  • Walk to the vicinity of the Wettin Residence Castle (Residenzschloß).
  • Visit the Church of the Virgin Mary (Frauenkirche), a symbol of Dresden’s reconstruction after the war.
  • Walk through the Zwinger palace complex.
  • A visit to the Old Masters Gallery – admiring works by Botticelli, Rubens and Rembrandt.
  • Tour the exhibition of Meissen porcelain and the Mathematical and Physical Salon with antique instruments.
  • Free time for shopping and souvenirs.
  • Transfer to the overnight resort, accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

  • Breakfast and check out of the hotel.
  • Drive to Saxon Switzerland, a picturesque region in the Elbe Mountains.
  • Walk among the rock formations of Bastei and cross the famous stone bridge.
  • Visit Königstein Fortress, located on a high plateau overlooking a bend in the Elbe River.
  • A visit to Stolpen Castle, famous for the story of Countess Cosel.
  • Admiring the world’s deepest well carved into the rock (90 meters deep) on the castle grounds.
  • Return trip with a meal break on your own.
  • The tour ends in the evening.

Price includes:

  • Travel by comfortable coach (toilet, air conditioning, video).
  • 1 night in a hotel in 2-5 bed rooms with bathrooms.
  • 1 breakfast and 1 dinner.
  • Pilot care throughout the tour.
  • City guide services.
