Day 1
In the early hours of the morning, we set off from the assembly point to begin a two-day journey full of contrasts – from UNESCO monuments to hot springs.
Our first stop will be the majestic Spiš Castle – one of the largest castle complexes in Central Europe, recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The impressive fortress, picturesquely located on a hill, will take us back to the times of knights and medieval legends.
We will then visit “Grey Beard,” a unique cold mineral water geyser, a natural geological curiosity in Slovakia that amazes even on hot days.
We will stroll through Levoča, a historic town that is called the pearl of Gothic, famous for its perfectly preserved architecture and unique atmosphere of the old centuries.
At the end of the day, we will relax at Tatralandia – one of the largest water complexes in Europe, offering as many as 14 thermal pools, slides, water massages and a tropical zone with sea water, a coral reef and a pirate shipwreck.
Accommodation in a comfortable guesthouse, and in the evening a shared dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
On the second day, after breakfast, we will head to the Demänovska Cave of Freedom – a fascinating karst world full of colorful stalactites, underground lakes, cave pearls and stalactites covered with ice frost. We will also see a spectacular 60-meter waterfall inside the mountain.
Another highlight will be the cable car ride up to the top of Chopok (2,024 meters above sea level), from where – weather permitting – you will have a view of almost all of Slovakia. This is an ideal place for photos and a last breath of mountain air before returning.
In the evening we return to Poland, full of impressions of two days combining history, nature and relaxation.
