Tour program
Day 1
Departure at night from the chosen city in the direction of Hungary.
The first item on the agenda will be Aggtelek National Park and the largest karst cave in Hungary – Baradla, stunning with its rock formations and underground passages.
We will then drive to Eger, a charming Baroque town, where during the walk we will see, among others, the Archcathedral Basilica, the Minorite Church and a Turkish minaret – a remnant of Ottoman rule.
Accommodation in a comfortable four-star hotel in Eger. There are air-conditioned rooms with bathroom and TV, as well as a wellness area with pools and sauna. Dinner in the evening in the restaurant.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will drive to Miskolc-Tapolc, where we will visit the unique Barlangfürdő Thermal Baths – a complex of pools carved into natural rock caves, with spectacular lighting and extraordinary atmosphere.
In the evening we will head to the Valley of the Beautiful Lady for a traditional Hungarian evening. On the menu: classic goulash soup, chicken in paprika sauce with homemade noodles, Somlói galuska dessert and local wine tasting.
Day 3
After breakfast and check out of the hotel, we will set off on our return trip to Poland, stopping in the famous wine town of Tokaj. We’ll visit the charming old town with its statue of Bacchus, a vantage point overlooking the rivers Tisza and Bodrog, and shop at local vineyards.
The next stop will be the medieval Boldogkő Castle, picturesquely situated on a hill overlooking vineyards and surrounding villages – its shape is reminiscent of a “sleeping lion.”
In the night hours, return to the place of departure and end the tour.
