Day 1
Morning departure from the selected city in the direction of northeastern Hungary.
Explore Aggtelek National Park with a visit to Hungary’s largest karst cave, Baradla Cave.
Drive to the picturesque baroque town of Eger and walk through its most interesting corners.
Admiring the Archcathedral Basilica, the Minorite Church and the Turkish minaret – one of the few preserved in Hungary.
Accommodation in a four-star hotel in Eger with air-conditioned rooms, private bathrooms, TV and access to the wellness area (pools, sauna).
Evening in the Valley of the Beautiful Lady – a traditional Hungarian dinner in an atmospheric restaurant with tasting of local wines.
Dishes served include goulash soup, “Hortobágy” pancakes, fried duck with cabbage and potatoes, and apple and walnut strudel.
Day 2
After breakfast, depart for Miskolc-Tapolca, a town famous for its underground thermal pools.
Relax in the unique bathing complex of Barlangfürdő – natural grottos and underground pools more than 700 meters long, filled with warm water and spectacularly illuminated.
Overnight return to the place of departure and the end of the tour.
